Some have thought that concentration and discovery of our Powerful moral fiber has a lot to do with supplication. Meditation has everything to do with the successful outcome of your request because meditation is the overture of communication between the mind of a woman and the Mind of Divine Intelligence. Petitioning through prayer is the carrying out of faith in the presence and power of the unseen. Supplication, faith, meditation, silence, and concentration are mental attitudes that enter into and form parts of prayer. We begin to understand the Laws’ spiritual character and adjust ourselves mentally to the Law, or the ever-Omnipresent Wise Mind.
The inscriptions of all the world’s lands attest to the existence of an invisible force moving us and nature in our various activities. Although not all agree as to the nature of this all-pervading weight of universal spirit, it serves the purpose of being the force… whatever name it may appear.
Omnipresence has implanted freedom to use free will, life, and to experience luminosity. The body is the instrument of the mind. The mind is the hard drive that directs the body—the body and the mind’s gaze to the spirit for its inspiration. Very little observation is needed to understand that the greater the mind, the greater its capacity to receive and interpret ideas imparted to it by spirit.
What does it take to convince ourselves that living a life out of the harmony of the Law injures our lives and lifestyle? When a will is acting in harmony with the Law, our work and its efforts are gentle. When we are not in alignment with the Law, our efforts are futile no matter the intention.
When we are engaged in prayer and communion with the Omnipresent Wise Mind within, realization awakens spiritual consciousness, developing true spiritual character. It is the only way to cleanse and perfect the mind and thus permanently heal the body. It is good to get still and think about the inexhaustible resources of infinite mind, about its presence in all its fullness and its readiness to manifest itself when the Law is complied with.
Pray with persistent understanding. Be instant in invocation, and never allow anything to keep you from having your daily quiet hour of communion with the Omnipresence.
