Camille Pierce
Camille was born and raised in Miami Dade County, Florida. There are many experiences in the life of which we have all prevailed. She has earned the following credentials: Bachelors in Metaphysical Science and Counseling B. MSc., Masters in Metaphysical Science and Counseling, M. MSc., New York State Credentialed Addictions Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC).
She also has experience in mental health counseling working in the trenches as an undergraduate social worker, case manager, counselor, outreach worker and discharge planner roles in human services since 1989. Camille is an ordained inter-spiritual, interfaith chaplain with full officiating rites, including a Spiritual Practitioner Diploma. She’s a producer and host of her own internet radio show since 2006, as well as spiritual lessons and presentations via zoom platform Tuesdays and Thursdays, since the year 2011.
Her 60-minute podcasts can be heard live every Tuesday 2:00 pm-2:30 pm on BlogTalkRadio. She also presents spiritual content related to a person, community and worldly issues on Zoom and Facebook Live every Thursday 730 pm-8:30 pm eastern.
An incredible story of survival
This is a difficult to read but impossible to look away memoir about growing up in the Jim Crow South amidst police brutality, racism, and intergenerational trauma. It also looks at the hope education can bring to those who have been dealt too many blows and the peace that can come from walking a spiritual path. Ultimately the author was able to persevere and give back through social work and her spiritual ministry.
